News and Announcements

You may have heard the news reports regarding security vulnerability called Heartbleed. The Heartbleed Bug affects OpenSSL- an open source software widely used to encrypt Web communication.

GPFCU accounts have NOT been affected; however, we always encourage members to routinely change their passwords and to continue to take proactive steps towards protecting your personal information from fraud.

We also encourage you to be cautious of what sites you visit, sign-in to, and what links you click since these may be unsecure. GPFCU will never send emails to our members including links that would take you to another site and require you put in your user name and/or password. User names and passwords should only be used when logging into Online Banking through or our mobile app.

Remember, you are your best safeguard against fraud. Be vigilant! Learn more about Heartbleed here.
